Delegate feedback from PISEC ’07 has shown that 100% of delegates found the event to be very useful or useful in relation to their work.
PISEC ’07, the leading global event for all brand protection, authentication, and anti-counterfeit professionals, this year held in London, UK, was attended by over 150 security professionals from a variety of different fields. These ranged from representatives from leading brands such as eBay, Beiersdorf, BP and Intel, to suppliers such as FractureCode, Ingenia Technology and Securikett, to governments and institutions including the EU, Home Office and Northern Ireland Office.
With over double the number of exhibitors and brand owners attending than at PISEC ’06, both the excellent quality and increasing quantity of PISEC attendees are serving to make this the must-attend event security event of the year.
Due to the success of the event a number many companies have already secured their participation at the 2008 event, including: Ingenia Technology, FractureCode, Payne Security, Securikett, Appleton and TUV Rheinland. Furthermore, the majority of delegates, in fact 98%, would return to PISEC again next year. This is no doubt due, in the main, to the fantastic speakers.
Top speakers from day one were Professor Martin Gill of Perpetuity Research and Consultancy International and Professor Russell Cowburn from Imperial College London. On day two Jacob Gotzche from FractureCode and Janice Kephart of 9/11 Security Solutions proved to be the favourites.
The PISEC Gala Dinner and Awards also proved to be a massive hit with the attendees. Thank you to all of the companies who submitted an application for the Awards. The Gala Dinner and Awards, which were held at the award winning Café Kristof in west London were extremely well attended and as tensions between applicants rose, the winners were finally announced. The awards however, were not the only highlight of the event. The Brand Owners Forum, which is an opportunity for brands to showcase some counterfeit products and their genuine counterparts, allowing the brands to discuss what they really need by way of a solution, was also rated highly. This year the forum consisted of: Autodata, Warner Bros, Arsenal FC, Rangers FC and Ben Sherman
After the success of PISEC ’06 and PISEC ’07 the IDEX team are already looking forward to an even bigger and better event in ’08. We hope that you can join us there.
